Basic Map Distance Calculator

This device measures the distance on a map simply by rolling the guide wheel along the desired road or track etc. The distance covered is displayed on the unit's calibrated dial against the appropriate map scale. Scales range from 1:15,000 to 1:750,000 allowing distance measurement from 20km to 750km per revolution of the pointer. The unit works in reverse as well so it's a simple matter to back-track if you
take a wrong turn on the map. No batteries required.
