Fishing Guide to Western Port

Updated 2010

Now with 150 GPS marks

All of the Ports famous species go under the microscope looking at places to find them, how to catch them and any specific tips that might put the numbers in your favour. Western Port is then broken up into many area specific maps with each area analysed for its full fishing potential. Not one stone has been left unturned in an effort to help you find more fish.
With the help of many good friends and excellent anglers the Paul Worsteling has compiled 150 amazing GPS marks from around the Port and offshore that are almost guaranteed to provide results. Tackleworld Cranbourne will also be offering the option to download the full set of marks on to new and existing Navionics map cards for a small fee. By doing this, every GPS mark from the book will automatically appear when you turn your unit on.
The author has been fishing Western Port for over two decades and literally knows it like the back of his hand. Paul has been fortunate enough to interact with tens of thousands of anglers through his two retail Tackle stores over the last 18 years. In that time he has learnt a great deal about the Port, information that he has always been happy to pass on. After reading this book Paul is of the belief that you will never go fishing on Western Port again with the ‘hope’ of catching a fish. Instead you will be secure with the knowledge that you probably will catch a fish…..it is only the species, size quantity that may vary.
The publication starts and ends with exactly the same sentence that makes a whole lot of sense as to why this area is so popular with so many anglers. “The great thing about Western Port is that you can always find a fish somewhere, and you can always find somewhere to fish”.
