Gondwana Online Terms and Conditions of Sale

All sales transacted via the Gondwana Online website, www.gondwanaonline.com.au, are subject to the following Terms and Conditions of Sale. Privacy Your Privacy & Security is important to us and we strongly recommend that you review our Privacy and Security Policy. This policy explains how we use the information that you provide when ordering from us and how your credit card details are processed when this payment type is used. Note: All prices quoted on the Gondwana Online website, including all freight charges listed in these terms, are in Australian Dollars $ AUD. Order Processing When your order is processed by Gondwana Online you will receive a confirmation email. We will notify you again by email once your order is dispatched or if there is any delay in supplying an item in your order. Delivery Delivery will be via Australia Post or International Airmail. Customers will need to provide a daytime delivery address and contact phone number including area code. The default shipping method for Domestic orders is via Australia Post but please note that, depending on your location, some large orders and bulky items may require courier shipments and an adjustment to quoted delivery costs. Any such adjustment will be communicated to you prior to dispatching your order. Freight charges are calculated automatically during the checkout process based on the total weight of goods you have purchased and your location. The total freight costs are listed for you during the checkout process before the order is finalised and processed. We reserve the right to refuse an order and refund any payments should we be unable to satisfy ourselves that an order is not fraudulent.  Preferred International payment method is an International Money Order. Money orders and cheques must arrive and clear before goods are shipped. Due to accessibility issues orders to some regional and rural destinations may be shipped via Australia Post's Express Post service. Unforseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable. Should there be a delay in despatching your order we will contact you immediately to advise you of the reason for the delay. You may cancel such an order at any time prior to shipment for a full refund. International airmail orders are traceable to the point where they have left Australia. The delivery of these orders are subsequently reliant on overseas postal services. Gondwana Online will provide as much assistance as possible in tracing misdirected items but cannot be responsible for items lost by overseas postal services. Please feel free to email us details of the products you require prior to ordering for a quoted freight amount or to request a quote for special shipping such as International Courier including insurance. We are happy to accommodate such requests. International Orders - Additional Identification Some international orders may require additional identification before being processed. The transmission of this information to Gondwana Online may affect estimated delivery times. Gondwana Online reserves the right to request additional identification prior to processing orders originating outside Australia. Goods & Services Tax (GST) The prices quoted on this website for products include a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. This is payable for all orders being delivered to an Australian Address. GST does not apply to purchases being delivered outside Australia. International Buyers should select the [International Prices] button on each product page to see the prices without GST. Customs, International Duty International shipping may be subject to local Custom’s levies. Please check with your local authority to ascertain applicable rates. Additional charges must be borne by the purchaser. Payments We accept Visa, Mastercard & Bankcard for online payments. (Bankcard option only available for Australian Residents paying in Australian Dollars). Personal cheques must be issued by Australian banks in Australian currency and are accepted subjected to 5 business days clearance. Payment may also be made using International Money Orders. Warranty All goods sold on the Gondwana Online website, www.gondwanaonline.com.au, are warranted to remain free of any defects that are due to faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice unless specified otherwise in the item description. We are happy to expedite warranty claims on all products sold by us. If you wish to make a warranty claim, you should contact us immediately to arrange return of the goods to us for assessment. Should the warranty claim prove valid we will, at our discretion, arrange for repair or replacement of the goods. Goods repaired or replaced under warranty will be supplied with a new 12 month warranty starting from the date of shipment of the repaired or replacement goods. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges We will gladly refund, credit or exchange any goods upon prompt return of the goods, an explanation of the problem with the goods and presentation of a facsimile of the original Gondwana Online tax invoice. Delivery and packaging charges are not refundable unless as a result of our error. You should always contact us prior to returning goods to receive a return authorisation. Overseas Returns Please contact us prior to returning goods to Gondwana Online. Where a refund of goods is payable, all items are required to be returned by the recipient at their own expense using the same credit card used for the original order. Upon receipt of the returned goods, Gondwana Online will refund the original cost of goods plus, in the case of warranty returns only,  the return freight charge. No goods shall be refunded without prior agreement between the recipient and/or customer and Gondwana Online. Please include all return postage receipts. Delivery and packaging charges are not refundable unless as a result of our error or warranty claim. All returns of international shipments are subject to our these terms and conditions.
